On Wednesday, I went to my dad's house to celebrate the upcoming 4th of July with him (but mainly for the explosives and fireworks). On the 4th of July, there was also a parade of people in costume walking down the street; an anual event called "The DooDah parade".

I was dressed in purple and black striped tights, my boots, some black shorts, a candy-striped blouse, a top hat, and a candy necklace. I looked around and saw what appeared to be a cluster of goth kids standing around a red van. As I approached, I realized that they were advertizing for the Rocky Horror Picture Show movie that was premiring the next day. All the girls were dressed in corsets with red feather boas. Two of the men were in regular clothes, since they were either driving or helping us dance (for those of you who know alot about the Rocky Horror Picture Show, we were dancing the "Time Warp"). One man was dressed like the transvestite from the movie, and he looked alot better than I did. In fact, I found it unacceptable that I was dressed nothing like the others. So I re-did my outfit by removing my shirt and borrowing a red feather boa to go with my tights.

As the parade started, we all got a stack of promotional flyers for the show to hand out to the people who had come to see us. I had quickly become their friend, and they accepted me into their group. One of the girls had a piece of cardboard that siad "kisses for cash" on it. Since I was broke, I offered her another candy necklace (I had brought alot of them with me) and I got a kiss from her.

Afterwords, the parade had begun, and we started walking down the street. The others were dancing the Time Warp and handing out flyers. I couldn't dance, so I mainly just handed out the flyers and waved at the crowd. Most of the men were cheering for the half-naked girls and their corsets (I was one of them) and the girls were using their sexiness to draw attention. I tried to accomplish the same thing, so I blew kisses and flirted with one of the girls, whom I got a picture of during the parade (I'll upload it as soon as I can).

After the parade was over, we had passed out many flyers and danced until our feet were killing us, especially those of us wearing heels. We gathered together for a group photo, and I got to put my arm around the girl I had flited with. After the photo, I got to kiss her on the cheek (two kisses in one day, fuck yeah!!!) I took a few more photos and said my good-byes. The leader of the group, who was dressed in bondage straps under his robe, had told me that they all walked in the DooDah Parade every year, and I was welcome to join them any time. I told them I'd come back, and I sure as hell meant it.

On that day, I got to parade with sexy girls and crossdressers, get two kisses and great photos, meet some friendly people, and plan something exiting (and arousing) for many years to come.
